Job summary

Uniserve in Tilbury is seeking an Export Seafreight Operator to manage FCL ocean export shipments from origin to final delivery. You will coordinate with shipping lines, customs and clients to schedule and track shipments and handle export documentation.

The role involves monitoring vessel schedules, arranging inland transport, and managing billing and cost reconciliation. A proactive communicator is essential to keep clients updated and records accurate.

• Knowledge of FCL export and Bills of Lading.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Clear communication with colleagues and clients at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage FCL ocean export shipments from origin to final delivery.
• Liaise with shipping lines, customs and clients to schedule and track shipments.
• Prepare and review export documentation (Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists and Customs Entry forms).
• Monitor vessel schedules and shipment arrivals and update clients on status and delivery dates.
• Arrange inland transport via carrier haulage.
• Handle billing and cost reconciliation for export shipments.
• Keep shipment records and documentation up to date in company systems.

Uniserve provides supply chain solutions across global logistics. We are looking for an Export Seafreight Operator to join our team at Tilbury, managing FCL ocean export shipments from origin to final delivery.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinating and managing FCL ocean export shipments from origin to final delivery
• Liaising with shipping lines, customs and clients to schedule and track shipments
• Preparing and reviewing export documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists and Customs Entry forms
• Monitoring vessel schedules and shipment arrivals, and keeping clients updated on status and expected delivery dates
• Arranging inland transport via carrier haulage
• Handling billing and cost reconciliation for export shipments
• Keeping accurate shipment records and documentation in company systems
