Role Overview

My client is a leading distributor across three diverse sectors. They are seeking a high-quality Export Sales Engineer to drive global growth of their bespoke submersible marine engines solutions.

The primary responsibility is to promote sales of their custom-built engine range worldwide, mainly targeting the Defence sector. The candidate will collaborate with an International Sales Agent to develop sales, respond to enquiries, and provide tailored solutions after engaging with customers.

This role is primarily office-based, with monthly international visits for trade shows and engine demonstrations. The position reports to a Sales Engineering Manager.

Candidate Profile
  • Ideally, experience in selling engine or propulsion products. Candidates with a strong technical background seeking to transition into sales are also considered.
  • Experience with Marine Defence markets is preferable.
  • Must be able to commute to a Southern-based office with willingness to travel overseas approximately twice a month.
  • Strong technical communication skills are essential for effective customer interactions.
