Job summary

Vertical Advantage Ltd in Central London is seeking an Export Logistics Co-ordinator to join a fast-growing FMCG brand. The role focuses on managing international orders and export shipments from release to delivery, ensuring compliant documentation and timely updates to customers.

You will coordinate end-to-end export shipments, work with freight forwarders, and maintain accurate data in ERP and transport systems while seeking process improvements. Hybrid role with three days in office.

Qualifications

• Experience in export logistics, freight forwarding or international order management.
• Knowledge of export documentation, customs and Incoterms.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail to handle multiple shipments.
• Good numeracy for checking freight costs and performance data.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office (Excel/Outlook).
• Clear communicator with customers and logistics partners.
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach to identify risks.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinating export orders and shipments end to end
• Booking collections and deliveries with freight forwarders, hauliers and shipping lines
• Preparing and checking export documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and market-specific paperwork
• Making sure shipments meet customs, Incoterms and destination-country requirements
• Tracking shipments and proactively communicating delays or changes
• Resolving shipment, documentation, customs and delivery issues
• Checking freight invoices and investigating cost discrepancies and claims
• Keeping order, shipment and master data accurate in ERP and transport systems
• Helping improve export processes and shipment visibility
