Job summary

Freightserve Recruitment is seeking an Export Freight Forwarder with air exports experience for a well-established forwarder in the West Drayton area. You will manage shipments from start to finish, including customs entries, bookings, and rate negotiations with airlines and GSA's.

Strong communication and top-tier customer service are essential. The role involves handling general cargo, time-sensitive shipments, and time on call roster with some out-of-hours work.

• Experience in air exports and freight forwarding.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MAWB and HAWB and other shipping documents.
• Handle customs entries and bookings.
• Manage time-sensitive AOG shipments.
• Provide high-level customer service and liaise with airlines/handling agents.
• On-call roster and some out-of-hours work.
• Coordinate with transporters and agents to ensure smooth shipments.

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Export Freight Forwarder who have experienced with mainly Air Exports for a well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the West Drayton area.

Job Description:-

Working with general cargo and time sensitive shipments, the role is working in a fast-moving Freight department.

The role is dealing with shipments from start to finish including; customs entries, bookings and negotiating rates with airlines / GSA's. The successful person must be a strong communicator, delivering exceptional customer services at all times.

Daily Duties:

• Preparing all documentation including; MAWB's and HAWB's
• Customs entries
• Managed time-critical AOG shipments
• Customer Services (highest level)
• Some out-of-hours work (on call roster)
• Dealing with Airline and Handling Agents
• Liaising with Transporters

Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730 plus working on a on call roster
