Job summary

Reeson Education is recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lightwater (GU18) to support a Year 3 class on a full-time, long-term basis, starting ASAP.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of primary school experience, be confident supporting pupils individually and in groups, and contribute to a positive learning environment across literacy and numeracy.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in a primary school setting.
• Confident supporting children's learning both individually and in groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and able to commit to a full-time long-term position.
• Available to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Support a Year 3 class throughout the school day.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Support literacy, numeracy and other areas of learning.
• Help pupils stay engaged and make progress.
• Support behaviour and classroom routines.
• Prepare resources and assist with activities.
• Work with the class teacher and wider support team.
• Encourage pupils' confidence and enjoyment of learning.
