Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Sheffield, supporting pupils with very high and complex needs. The role is full-time, on site, and offers daily pay of £200-£232 depending on experience and suitability.

You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, adapt learning to meet individual needs, and work closely with Teaching Assistants to support emotional regulation and wellbeing in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEN and/or complex needs.
• Confident working within a very high-needs specialist setting.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable in your approach.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Previous experience within a specialist SEN school is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Teach pupils with complex SEN and additional needs.
• Adapt learning to suit individual abilities and communication needs.
• Support emotional regulation, behaviour and wellbeing.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
