Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to join the newly established Inclusion Hub at a welcoming two-form entry Church of England primary school in London. You will provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning and develop social-emotional skills.

The role offers daily pay between 90 and 120 pounds depending on experience, with ongoing support from Aspire People education recruitment consultants.

Qualifications

• Experience as a DTA or Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with SEND.
• Strong understanding of behaviour management and inclusive education.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils needing extra support.
• Valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs.
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, social skills and positive behaviour management.
• Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment within the Inclusion Hub.
• Implement individual support strategies to help pupils engage with learning and develop independence.
• Work with teachers, the SENCO and other professionals to monitor pupil progress.
