Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school.
- Patient, caring and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good safeguarding knowledge and child protection understanding.
- Ability to adapt learning strategies to individual needs.
- Desirable qualifications or training in education, childcare, or SEN support.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
- Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs.
- Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
