Grant Thornton UK LLP in the UK is seeking an Experienced Technician for Private Assurance, based in Milton Keynes or Manchester. You will manage complex UK Personal Tax returns and build trusted client relationships, with support from a structured development pathway.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK Personal Tax.
• A-Levels or equivalent.
• Good grades in Maths and English GCSE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• ATT qualification (or working towards) – study support available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of complex clients and tax returns.
• Prepare tax returns and computations for manager review.
• Engage with clients and HMRC with clear communication.
• Drive the tax return process and manage deadlines.
• Collaborate with tax service line and other teams.
