Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is a leading UK audit, tax and advisory firm seeking a Manager in Private Tax Advisory. Based in Birmingham, you will lead client engagements for entrepreneurial and high net worth individuals, delivering bespoke UK and international tax advice and planning.

The role requires a relevant professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and strong client-facing skills. You will work within a collaborative, inclusive culture that values balance, development and agility,

Qualifications

CTA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience interacting with clients.
Knowledge of UK private client tax and/or corporate tax advisory.
Ability to research topics for advisory projects.
Experience with owner-managed businesses and related tax issues.

Responsibilities

Meet clients and provide on-the-ground advisory services.
Conduct bespoke technical research for complex advisory projects.
Produce high-quality tax reports and liaise with HMRC on clients' behalf.
Deliver exceptional client experience by managing day-to-day relationships.
Maintain risk controls and internal procedures.
Build internal networks and stay up to date with UK and international tax developments.
