Grant Thornton UK is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Associate Director to join their Corporate and Multinational Tax team in Manchester. In this role, you'll advise large complex businesses on compliance and advisory projects while managing a diverse client portfolio.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in UK corporation tax, with responsibilities including client relationship management, tax provision preparation, and team leadership. Flexible working options are available, along with a competitive remuneration package.

Qualifications

• Minimum post-qualification experience managing a portfolio of tax clients.
• Ability to lead client relationships and deliver client advisory projects.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on tax issues covering compliance and advisory projects.
• Managing preparation of tax provisions and ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
• Training and developing junior members of the team.

Skills

Strong UK corporation tax technical skills

Corporate tax compliance experience

Excellent interpersonal skills

Experience in coaching junior team members

Familiarity with Alphatax

Proficiency in Power BI

Education

Professional qualification (ATT, CTA, ACA, ICAS or ACA)
