Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is looking for a Manager to join the National Trusts Tax team in Manchester. You will manage a diverse client portfolio with support from senior leadership and colleagues, delivering tax compliance and advisory services timely and accurately.

The role offers flexibility in working patterns, including reduced hours or job shares, and opportunities to grow within GT’s extensive tax network.

Qualifications

• CTA or STEP qualification with post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing a portfolio of trust clients.
• Knowledge of Trusts Tax and related compliance.
• Private Client advisory experience including inheritance tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large and varied portfolio of trust clients with senior leadership support.
• Lead client meetings, provide tax advice, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop junior team members and support their career growth.
• Contribute to high-quality tax compliance and advisory work within the team.
• Collaborate across Grant Thornton's wider tax network.
