Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking experienced tutors to join our team in Dudley and surrounding areas. You will provide tailored tuition sessions across Maths, English and/or Science, aligned with the UK national curriculum, in school premises, students' homes, or libraries.

You will foster student confidence and social development, working with various year groups from KS1 through Post-16, including SEN learners, with flexible hours and long-term tutoring relationships offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering tuition in Maths, English, and/or Science
• Strong understanding of the current UK national curriculum
• Experience working with Students with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one before employment commences

Responsibilities

• Deliver tuition sessions in Maths, English and/or Science, and potentially other subjects, following the UK national curriculum
• Provide individualised support for students in both core academic subjects and social development
• Work with students across a range of year groups, from Key Stage 1 through to Post-16
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to each student's unique learning needs
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that builds students' confidence and self-esteem
• Work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adjust approaches to ensure inclusivity and accessibility in learning
• Maintain ongoing communication with students and their families regarding progress and any areas for further development
