Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking experienced tutors to join our team in Worcester and surrounding areas. You will deliver tailored tuition sessions in Maths, English and/or Science to students across key stages, following the UK national curriculum.

Tutoring can occur at students' homes, schools or public spaces, with flexible weekly hours from 1 to 15. Build strong relationships and provide support to help students progress and gain confidence.

Qualifications

• Proven tutoring experience in Maths/English/Science.
• Strong knowledge of the current UK national curriculum.
• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one before employment commences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tuition sessions in Maths, English and/or Science, following the UK national curriculum.
• Provide individualised support for students in both core academic subjects and social development.
• Work with students across a range of year groups, from Key Stage 1 through to Post-16.
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to each student's learning needs.
• Foster a positive learning environment that builds confidence and self-esteem.
• Maintain ongoing communication with students and their families regarding progress.
