Job summary

Remedy Education in Dudley is seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition to students with special educational needs, helping them re-engage with learning and build confidence. You will tailor lessons to each learner’s needs and support progress in English, Maths and Science.

Applicants should have an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one); QTS or tutoring experience is desirable. This role offers flexible, rewarding work with safeguarding at the forefront.

Qualifications

• DBS enhanced, Update Service preferred or willingness to obtain one.
• QTS or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one lessons tailored to each student's needs.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects: English, Maths and Science.
• Adapt teaching to support SEN and learning barriers.
• Build relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
• Monitor and assess progress; adjust lesson plans to maximise outcomes.
• Complete weekly reports and provide feedback on attendance and progress.
• Collaborate with families, schools, local authorities and Remedy Tutors team.
• Maintain safeguarding and professionalism at all times.
