Job summary

Remedy Education in Dudley is seeking experienced SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs, helping them build confidence and re-engage with learning.

You will deliver tutoring in core subjects (English, Maths, Science), tailor lessons to individual needs, and work with families, schools and local authorities to ensure students receive the best support.

Qualifications

• DBS: An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• QTS or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with a range of SEN and barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
• Monitor and assess progress, adapting lesson plans where appropriate to maximise outcomes.
• Complete weekly reports and provide regular feedback on attendance, engagement and progress.
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, local authorities and the Remedy Tutors team to ensure students receive the best possible support.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professionalism at all times
