Teledyne CML Composites, based in Bromborough, is a fast-growing manufacturer of carbon/glass fibre composite parts serving major aircraft and aero engine producers. The role focuses on training operators, delivering specialist tools and skills for complex lay-ups, and developing methods for new work packages (NPI).

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail required.
  • Proactive and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with accuracy, meet deadlines and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work within set guidelines and follow Works/Quality procedures.
  • Hardworking, enthusiastic, flexible and able to use own initiative.
  • Adherence to all Works Procedure Manuals and Quality Procedure Manual.
  • Experience in composite laminating is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist training and develop the skills of current operators.
  • Provide specialist tools/knowledge/skills to undertake complex composite lay-ups.
  • Provide specialist laminating skills to develop a manufacturing method for new work packages (NPI).
  • Guide Supervision on Clean Room best practice and operational improvements.
  • Take responsibility for lean initiatives and liaise with Engineering on existing program improvements.
  • Drive cleanroom activities to achieve or exceed target layup times and quality metrics.

Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast growing manufacturer, supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world’s leading aircraft and aero engine producers. Key Responsibilities
