Job summary

Teledyne CML Composites in Bromborough is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to perform thorough inspection and QA checks on aerospace parts and materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

You will document findings, manage non-conformities, support AS9102 First Article Inspections, and release certificates while using precision measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers and CMM when available; ISO QMS knowledge and aerospace experience are

Qualifications

• Proven experience in aerospace QA/inspection.
• Experience with ISO and customer quality management systems.
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspection and quality checks on aerospace parts and materials.
• Record inspection results and manage non-conformities with thorough documentation.
• Assist with concession & First Article Inspection (AS9102) measurements.
• Sign and stamp release certifications to customers where authorized.
• Collaborate across functions to identify issues and implement corrective actions.

Job description

It is expected that this role will be on a 4on-4off days shift pattern., You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspection of Aerospace components to ensure that they comply with industry standards, customer requirements and regulatory guidelines. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining safety and performance of aerospace products.,

• Perform detailed inspection and quality control checks on aerospace parts and materials.
• Assist with concession & First Article Inspection measurements data (AS9102)
• Accurately record inspection findings and maintain comprehensive documentation of inspection results, defects and non conformities.
• Work with functions across the business to identify and resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions and prevent measures to improve product quality and prevent defects.
• Investigate and identify root cause of quality issues, defects and non conformances. Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement corrective and preventative action.
• Communicate inspection results, findings and quality related issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Authority to sign/stamp all release certifications to customer
• Material booking in/release
• Ability to use all inspection, general measuring equipment, verniers, micrometers etc. CMM if approved- Desirable
• Good computer skills to maintain records and documents
• Comply fully with internal and external Quality Audits
• Work within all company guidelines and procedures
