Job summary

Reflect Recruitment Group are seeking a Children Law Solicitor or Legal Executive in Peterborough to advise and represent clients in Private Children Law and domestic abuse matters. You will conduct advocacy in and out of court and manage a caseload using Proclaim with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Children Law.
• Proven experience within a Children Law Department.
• Resolution Accredited and/or a Children Panel Member.
• Strong knowledge of Legal Aid regulations and procedures.
• Excellent advocacy, communication and client care skills.
• Highly organised with strong file and diary management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Able to work independently using your own initiative.
• Friendly, positive and proactive approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience using the Proclaim Case Management System would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Advising and representing clients in Private Children Law and domestic abuse matters.
• Conducting advocacy both in and out of court.
• Managing your caseload using the Proclaim Case Management System (full training provided if required).
• Supporting colleagues within the Children Department as needed.
• Building and maintaining strong professional relationships through networking and business development.
