G2 Legal Limited is assisting a highly respected regional firm in Peterborough to recruit a Children Law Solicitor or Legal Executive. The role involves managing private children matters, including domestic abuse, and providing advocacy in and out of court.

You’ll join a supportive team known for strong collaboration and excellent outcomes for clients. The successful candidate will have solid Children Law experience, a good understanding of Legal Aid, and the confidence to handle cases

Qualifications

• Ability to manage cases independently and demonstrate proactive planning.

In this role, you'll manage your own caseload of private children matters, including cases involving domestic abuse, while also undertaking advocacy in and out of court. Working closely with colleagues, you'll contribute to a collaborative team environment, supporting others when needed and building strong professional relationships across the local network.

You'll bring experience within a Children Law department, a solid understanding of Legal Aid and the confidence to manage cases independently. Strong communication, organisation and a proactive approach will be key to success in this role.
