Job summary

G2legal is seeking a Children Law Solicitor or Legal Executive in Peterborough to join a highly respected regional firm. You will manage your own caseload of private children matters, including cases involving domestic abuse, and undertake advocacy in and out of court.

A highly respected regional firm is looking to appoint a Children Law Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its established and supportive team. Known for its strength across publicly funded work, the department handles a steady flow of sensitive and often complex matters, offering both variety and purpose.

In this role, you’ll manage your own caseload of private children matters, including cases involving domestic abuse, while also undertaking advocacy in and out of court. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll contribute to a collaborative team environment, supporting others when needed and building strong professional relationships across the local network.

You’ll bring experience within a Children Law department, a solid understanding of Legal Aid and the confidence to manage cases independently. Strong communication, organisation and a proactive approach will be key to success in this role.
