Job summary

Bradley Environmental Consultants – powered by Vadella, a leading UK environmental compliance firm, is seeking a Qualified Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst/Consultant to join our field-based team in Halesowen. You will conduct management, refurbishment and demolition surveys, air monitoring and provide technical consultancy across the UK.

The role requires BOHS qualifications, driving licence, and a proactive approach to safety and reporting, with a focus on accuracy and client service.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent).
• BOHS P403 & P404 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Ideally two years’ experience within the asbestos industry.
• Strong working knowledge of HSG248 and HSG264.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Teams experience beneficial but not essential).
• A full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (paid for by the company).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Completing asbestos reinspection surveys and audits.
• Undertaking asbestos air monitoring, four-stage clearances and analytical services in accordance with HSG248.
• Supervising licensed asbestos removal projects.
• Producing accurate survey reports and technical documentation.
• Providing professional technical advice and consultancy to clients.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and professionalism.
• Representing Bradley Environmental Consultants to the highest standard on client sites.
