Job summary

The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Housekeeping Manager to lead both housekeeping and laundry operations. You will ensure peak standards of cleanliness and service in all guest areas and public spaces, while managing the annual budget and scheduling to meet occupancy demands.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of five years in luxury hotel housekeeping management, fluency in English and Mandarin, and strong leadership and organizational skills to drive team performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of housekeeping management experience in a luxury hotel.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
• Good understanding of housekeeping management systems and processes.
• Attention to detail with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure standards are met.
• Ensure both departments provide the highest standards of excellence in products, physical atmosphere, and services.
• Maintain superior standards of cleanliness and quality in both public and staff areas.
• Prepare the annual departmental operating budget and financial plan.
• Set departmental targets, work schedules, and policies & procedures.
• Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure fixtures, fittings, linens, and appliances are in good repair.
• Accumulate guest preferences and create a comprehensive guest relationship database.
• Manage daily staffing requirements, providing training, coaching, and regular feedback to improve staff performance.
• Closely monitor the work performance of outside contractors.

Prepare the annual departmental operating budget and financial plan. Operate within the budget through effective stock and cost controls, and well-managed schedules to accommodate upcoming occupancy

Set departmental targets, work schedules, and policies & procedures

Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure that all fixtures, fittings, linens, and appliances are in good repair to meet guest satisfaction

Accumulate guest preferences and create a comprehensive guest relationship database

Manage daily staffing requirements, providing training, coaching, and regular feedback to improve staff performance

Requirements
