Job summary

Oak View Group seeks an exceptional Executive Head Chef to lead the culinary opening of Town Hall by Bottaccio, London, ultimately building it into the capital’s premier luxury entertainment destination. The role oversees a 30‑40 strong kitchen team and reports to the Venue Director, collaborating with senior leaders to launch and sustain a premium food offer from day one.

You will shape menus, concepts and kitchen culture from scratch, delivering ownership of food standards, cost, and quality

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in premium, multi‑outlet food operations.
• Proven experience leading pre-opening or large‑scale kitchen mobilisation projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with direct responsibility for food cost and margin.
• Exceptional people‑leadership and talent development.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Understanding luxury guest‑experience standards and delivering them at scale.
• Knowledge of diverse cuisines including upscale Italian, Japanese and deli offerings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full pre‑opening mobilisation of the culinary operation across all outlets - recruitment, team build, menu development, systems, training, standards and launch readiness.
• Build a high‑performing kitchen team of 30‑40 that reflects London’s luxury hospitality.
• Take culinary ownership across all food outlets with accountability for quality, cost, and profitability.
• Develop and oversee distinct food concepts simultaneously (Italian, Japanese/Mexican influenced, deli).
• Drive the events and private hire food elements in partnership with the events team, from receptions to galas.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to position Town Hall by Bottaccio as a top culinary destination.
• Collaborate with central support functions to ensure commercially aligned and robust kitchen operations.
• Maintain highest standards of food quality, presentation and guest experience.
