Job summary

Convene Rathbone in London seeks an Executive Chef to lead the culinary launch and daily kitchen operations for a new, high-profile Meetings & Events destination in the West End. You will report to the General Manager and oversee all culinary offerings across lounges and large-scale events.

The role requires 5–8+ years of experience in premier venues, strong leadership, and expertise in menu development, food safety, and cost control. A dynamic, client-focused leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts (or equivalent) with hands-on leadership.
• 5–8+ years of progressive culinary and kitchen management in high-volume venues.
• Strong knowledge of UK Food Safety regulations and HACCP.
• Experience leading fine-dining or large-scale events.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary launch strategy and daily kitchen operations for a premier event venue.
• Oversee all culinary offerings across private lounges and large-scale events.
• Develop seasonal artisan menus and manage food and labor costs.
