Job summary

W Talent is supporting an established organisation in appointing a General Manager to lead a multi-site operation in Nottingham. This senior leadership role carries full P&L responsibility across three sites, with primary focus on the distribution operation.

You will drive sales growth, profitability and operational excellence across packaging, manufacturing and logistics, delivering strategic plans while ensuring safety and compliance. Strong leadership and change management are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven full P&L accountability.
• Strong sales and commercial leadership experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging or logistics.
• Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Full P&L responsibility across three sites
• Lead, develop and grow the sales and commercial teams
• Own sales strategy, targets, pipeline and key customer relationships
• Manage distribution, warehousing, stock, logistics and purchasing
• Provide leadership across manufacturing and assembly operations
• Develop and deliver strategic growth plans
• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and operational excellence
• Develop management capability, succession and team structures
• Ensure robust Health & Safety and environmental compliance
• Manage budgets, KPIs and overall business performance
