Job summary

Parexel is seeking an Executive Director, Biostatistics (Scientific Advisory) to provide statistical consulting and strategic guidance across drug, device, and diagnostic development. This remote role can be based in the United Kingdom or Ireland.

You will lead innovative study designs, support new business through bids and client presentations, and collaborate across functions to advance high-quality clinical research.

Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics or MS in Statistics or related discipline.
• Significant pharmaceutical industry experience with broad development knowledge.
• Direct consulting experience.
• Experience designing and executing drug, device, or diagnostic development programs.
• Demonstrated interactions with regulatory agencies (FDA, EMEA, MHRA, PMDA, NMPA, etc.).
• Experience with regulatory submissions and negotiations during reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical consulting throughout the clinical development process.
• Design and optimize development programs and protocols; prepare submissions.
• Interact with clients and regulatory authorities and represent clients at meetings.
• Lead or contribute to meetings on innovative study designs and analyses.
• Provide leadership on advanced statistical designs and methods.
• Support business development with client presentations and proposals.
• Attend bid defenses and contribute to proposal development.
