Job summary

Parexel is seeking an experienced Biostatistician II in the United Kingdom to contribute to trial design, analysis planning, and regulatory submissions. You will lead statistical aspects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help translate scientific questions into actionable statistical plans.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Statistics (or PhD) with industry experience and strong SAS/R skills, plus excellent written and spoken English.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Statistics (or equivalent) plus minimum 3 years industry experience OR PhD in Statistics (or equivalent) plus 1 year industry experience
• Thorough understanding of statistical aspects of clinical trials and/or observational studies
• Experience in statistical analysis in a clinically related subject, within clinical trials
• SAS programming or R programming skills (desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead, advise and review: independently leads the development and execution of statistical aspects for studies of low to moderate complexity.
• Foster teamwork. perform intricate statistical analyses and provide input to statistical reports.
• Share knowledge. provide input to analysis plans, statistical reports, and integrated clinical reports.
• Impact the process. be a proactive advisor for all types of analysis from proposal through project life cycle.
• Take quality seriously. review analysis data sets and quality control all types of statistical analysis deliverables.
• Cooperate And Network: Build relationships and coordinate Biostatistics related project activities for successful completion within timelines and budget.
• Interact with heart. Coordinate with clients regarding data analysis, scope of work, and budget.
