Executive Assistant (OPCC)
Location: Andy Hocking House, Exeter
Salary: Grade 5 - Starts at £29,109, rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £31,296 per annum.
Please note that the above salary is based on a 37-hour workweek. If this role is part-time or you are appointed on a part-time basis, your salary will be prorated accordingly. Exceptions to the starting salary may apply if you are an existing Devon and Cornwall or Dorset Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.
Type of working arrangement: Hybrid Worker - Hybrid working involves a flexible approach where employees spend some of their time working remotely (usually from home) and some in the employer's workspace.
Hours per week: 37 hours

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team based at Middlemoor Police HQ in Exeter. Working directly for the Chief Executive, you will provide critical, professional, and effective personal support. Your responsibilities will include:
This role is varied and fast-paced, requiring adaptability. Based in Exeter, you will work closely with the Police and Crime Commissioner, senior police roles, and various partners across Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills, diplomacy, negotiation, emotional intelligence, and superb verbal and written English. Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office applications, is essential.
