Executive Assistant (OPCC)
Location: Andy Hocking House, Exeter
Salary: Grade 5 - Starts at A£29,109 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of A£31,296 per annum.
Please note that the above salary is based on working 37 hours per week. If this role is part-time or you are appointed on a part-time basis, your salary will be prorated accordingly. Exceptions to the starting salary may apply if you are an existing Devon and Cornwall or Dorset Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.
Type of working arrangement: Hybrid Worker - hybrid working involves a mix of remote work and working in the employer's workspace.

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner seeks an Executive Assistant to join our team at Middlemoor Police HQ, Exeter. Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will provide essential personal support, acting as their right-hand person. Key responsibilities include:
Adaptability is crucial as no two days are the same. The role is varied, challenging, and fast-paced. Based in Exeter, you will collaborate closely with the Police and Crime Commissioner, senior policing roles, and partners across Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly.
Ideal candidates will have experience in similar environments, demonstrating excellent planning, organisational skills, diplomacy, negotiation, emotional intelligence, and exceptional written and verbal English. Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office applications, is essential.
