Job summary

AstraZeneca plc seeks a senior, enterprise-level technology leader to partner with Legal and Compliance leadership and drive AI-enabled transformation at global scale within a highly regulated environment.

You will shape how AI, data and modern platforms support governance, risk and ethics, and build a product-centric Legal & Compliance IT organisation that delivers measurable value with speed and discipline. This role requires executive presence and the ability to influence at the top table.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior technology leadership in global organisations.
• Proven executive partnership with Legal, Compliance or control functions.
• Demonstrated success delivering AI and analytics-enabled transformations in regulated environments.
• Experience transitioning to product-centric operating models and value-based delivery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer to set technology strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead AI-first transformation across Legal & Compliance, from pilots to scaled capabilities.
• Redesign processes for AI-enabled workflows while maintaining regulatory guardrails.
• Build and lead a product-centric IT organisation with strong governance and value outcomes.
• Champion change management, upskilling and strategic vendor partnerships.
• Establish measurement of outcomes, benefits and adoption across the function.
