Job summary

Britvic plc in Rugby is seeking an Excellence Specialist on a 12-month secondment. You will lead training, coaching and capability building across production and supply chain to drive world-class performance.

Working Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours, you will implement Carlsberg Excellence foundations, partner with engineering and quality teams, and champion continuous improvement and a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or supply chain.
• Passion for developing others with coaching or mentoring experience.
• Effective communication and facilitation at all levels.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive actions.
• Organizational and project coordination skills to support multiple initiatives.
• Continuous improvement mindset; knowledge of Lean, Operational Excellence or TPM desirable.
• Self-motivated and people-focused with change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training, coaching and mentoring to build capability across production and supply chain teams.
• Support the implementation and embedding of Excellence foundations and standards.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to improve performance.
• Coach teams in problem-solving and continuous improvement to drive Zero Loss.
• Support improvement projects and change initiatives and sustain new practices.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and H&S to meet priorities.
• Monitor progress against improvement plans and help sites achieve targets.
• Promote best practice sharing and benchmarking across sites.
• Foster a high-performance culture through capability building and engagement.

About The Role

Play a key role in building capability across our Rugby production and supply chain teams, helping colleagues develop the skills, confidence and mindset needed to deliver world-class performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a manufacturing background who enjoys coaching others, leading change, and embedding continuous improvement practices that make a lasting impact across the business.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver training, coaching and mentoring to build capability across production and supply chain teams.
• Support the implementation and embedding of Carlsberg Excellence foundations, standards and ways of working.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions, ensuring colleagues have the skills and knowledge to improve performance.
• Coach teams in problem-solving techniques and continuous improvement methodologies to drive a Zero Loss mindset.
• Support operational improvement projects and change initiatives, helping teams adopt and sustain new practices.
• Work closely with stakeholders across Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and H&S to deliver improvement priorities.
• Monitor progress against improvement plans and support sites in achieving operational performance targets.
• Promote best practice sharing across sites and support benchmarking activities to drive operational excellence across the wider network.
• Support the development of a high-performance culture through effective capability building and employee engagement.

Experience And Key Attributes

• Experience working within a manufacturing, production or supply chain environment.
• Passion for developing others, with experience coaching, mentoring or training colleagues.
• Effective communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with people at all levels.
• Experience using data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and create action plans.
• Good organisational, project coordination and project management skills, with the ability to support multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Continuous improvement mindset, with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, TPM or similar methodologies desirable.
• Self-motivated, engaged and people-focused, with a clear focus on leading change and helping others succeed.
