Job summary

The Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians, based in the UK, is seeking an Administrator to join the Examinations team and support the delivery of MRCP(UK) examinations. This full-time role in London offers hybrid working with in-office presence required (minimum six days a month).

Key duties include administrative support, customer service, report writing, and database management. You will handle confidential information and contribute to a respectful, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: assist with examination processes, trainee services and CPD activities.
  • Communication and customer service: respond to enquiries by email, phone, social media or in person.
  • Report Writing: produce detailed, clear reports.
  • Database Management: update databases and keep records current.
  • Other: assist with packing and shipping exam materials as required.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and equal opportunities rules.

Job description

Working hours - Full time (35 hours per week). Standard working hours between 9am - 5pm.

Working arrangements - London, hybridhomeworking (minimum 6 days a month in office).

The Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians based in the UK and with an international reach is a collaboration between the Royal College of Edinburgh, Royal College of Physicians and Glasgow and Royal College of Physicians. The Federation is looking for an Administrator to join the Examinations team and support with the coordination and delivery of MRCP(UK) examinations.

Key responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Supporting physicians with either/or combination of the examination process, trainee services and CPD activities.
  • Communication and customer service: Communicate clearly and effectively, providing exceptional customer service when responding to enquiries from stakeholders by email, phone, social media and/or in person.
  • Report Writing: You will write detailed reports that present information in a clear and accurate manner.
  • Database Management: Updating databases and ensuring that records are up to date.
  • Other: Some packing and shipping exam materials might be a part of your role.
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably expected and which are commensurate with the level of the post, adhere and comply with the provisions of the RCP's health and safety policy, undertake all duties and responsibilities in compliance with the rules and regulations encompassing equal opportunities
