Job summary

Nova Education Trust in England is seeking Casual Exam Invigilators for The Suthers School. The role involves assisting with the preparation and supervision of examination venues and candidates, and ensuring examination regulations are followed. Salary is £13.28 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and set up of examination venues, including laying out examination papers, equipment and stationery.
• Directing candidates to seats and advising on permitted items before examinations.
• Supervising candidates to ensure regulations are followed during examinations.
• Reporting irregularities and handling attendance and access arrangements where required.
• Collecting and preparing examination papers and scripts at session end.
• Ensuring orderly departures from the examination venues.
• Assisting with movement, packing, and delivery of examination materials as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and set up of examination venues, including laying out examination papers, equipment and stationery in accordance with regulations.
• Supporting candidates before examinations by directing them to seats and advising on permitted items.
• Supervising candidates throughout examinations and ensuring examination regulations are followed at all times.
• Responding appropriately to candidate queries and reporting any examination irregularities in line with strict procedures.
• Checking attendance and facilitating approved access arrangements where required.
• Accurately recording early leavers and supervising candidates who need to leave the examination room temporarily.
• Collecting, collating and preparing examination scripts and materials at the end of each session.
• Ensuring candidates leave examination venues in a quiet and orderly manner.
• Assisting with the movement, packing and delivery of examination materials as required.
