Job summary

C2 Recruitment Limited is seeking a Warehouse Stock Auditor / Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution centre in Washington. The role is full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £24,882 per annum. Full training provided and opportunities for career progression in a chilled warehouse environment.

You will perform stock checks and audits, ensure accuracy of inbound/outbound stock, and record results precisely to support daily targets and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, stock control, picking, packing, goods-in or dispatch experience.
• Confidence with basic calculations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Check pallets, cages and trailer loads for accuracy.
• Audit inbound and outbound stock.
• Check loads against paperwork and delivery information.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies.
• Accurately record audit results.
• Work to daily targets and quality standards.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Help identify recurring stock issues.
