Trigon Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Ex-Offender Mentor in the Southampton area to support individuals within the criminal justice system, helping them overcome barriers and reintegrate into their communities.

You will manage caseloads, deliver tailored support, run group sessions across community locations, develop education, training and employment pathways, and collaborate with employers and partner agencies to ensure coordinated, person-centred outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and barriers to progression.
  • Experience working towards targets, outcomes and KPIs.
  • Strong case management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong administration and record-keeping skills with good attention to detail.
  • ICT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries and risk management.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

  • Engage and support peer mentors where required.
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion throughout service delivery.

Our client is looking for a passionate and dedicated Ex-Offender Mentor to support individuals within the criminal justice system to overcome barriers, achieve positive outcomes and successfully reintegrate into their communities.

This rewarding role involves managing a caseload of participants, providing tailored support, facilitating interventions, and helping individuals access education, training and employment opportunities that support long-term rehabilitation and independence.

The Role

As a Justice Case Worker, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of individuals with complex and multiple support needs.
  • Deliver person-centred support plans that help participants achieve positive outcomes.

You will have:

Essential
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and barriers to progression.
