Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is seeking an Events Service Waiter/Waitress to deliver a high-quality Conference & Event dining experience and meet guest expectations throughout their visit.

You will demonstrate knowledge of menu items, allergens, and service standards while providing professional, friendly service and assisting guests with enquiries or complaints as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for delivering excellent service in a fast-paced events environment.
• Able to communicate confidently with guests and colleagues.
• Experience in food & beverage or events service is an advantage, training provided.

Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is located in the prestigious Marylebone area of London’s West End, overlooking the gardens of Portman Square and just moments from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Duties and responsibilities related to the Events Service Waiter/Waitress role

Deliver a high-quality Conference & Event dining experience, ensuring all guest expectations are met throughout their visit

Demonstrate strong knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, including ingredients, allergens, and service standards

Provide professional, friendly service while assisting guests and handling enquiries or complaints promptly and effectively

Carry out opening and closing procedures in line with departmental standards and assigned responsibilities

Monitor operating supplies, minimising spoilage and wastage to support cost control and sustainability efforts

Work collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage and Events teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Provide accurate information about the hotel, its services, and facilities, enhancing the overall guest experience

About you

You are passionate about delivering excellent service and enjoy creating memorable dining experiences for guests attending conferences and events. You are friendly, professional, and attentive, with a positive attitude and a strong focus on teamwork. You take pride in your presentation, communicate confidently with guests, and are able to work flexibly in a fast-paced events environment. Previous experience in food and beverage or events service is an advantage, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.
