Job summary

Utilita Arena Sheffield is seeking Casual Hospitality Team Members to deliver outstanding guest experiences at concerts, sports, and live events. You will work across restaurants, bars, hospitality suites, lounges and premium dining areas, maintaining high standards of service and food safety.

Applicants should be friendly, professional and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend and public holiday availability is required; EPOS familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and guest experiences.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional with excellent communication skills.
• Strong team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in hospitality, events, restaurant or bar is desirable.
• Experience using EPOS/till systems is advantageous.
• Food hygiene certification or cocktail knowledge would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and provide a friendly, professional welcome to guests.
• Serve food and beverages safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
• Process cash and card payments accurately using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, drinks, promotions, and venue facilities.
• Assist with setup and operation of hospitality areas before, during, and after events.
• Keep service areas clean, organized and well-stocked during service.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, hygiene and licensing requirements.
• Report safety, maintenance or security issues promptly.
• Work with other teams and support other departments as required.
• Demonstrate flexibility and attend training sessions to contribute to a positive team environment.
