Job summary

Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly is seeking a proactive Conference and Banqueting Associate to support high-quality events. You will set up spaces, assist with food and beverage service, and ensure an exceptional guest experience during conferences, meetings and banquets.

The role offers £12.71 per hour with flexible hours, 28 days holiday (increasing to 33), staff discounts, wellbeing support and progression opportunities. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality industry
• Experience in conference/banqueting preferred but not essential
• Excellent personal presentation
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces per client needs.
• Assist with food and beverage service during events.
• Maintain presentation of tables and buffets.
• Provide attentive, friendly guest service.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams.
• Clear and reset spaces for next functions.
• Uphold health, safety, hygiene in handling.
• Assist with additional event duties as needed.
