Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a Meetings and Events Sales Agent for a role at DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds. You will manage event bookings from enquiry to contracting, delivering exceptional guest service and maximising revenue through upselling.

Based in the hotel, the role is office-based with Monday–Friday hours. You’ll engage with guests by phone, email and in person, and may expand into direct sales calls as the business grows. Experience in hospitality sales is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience in meetings and events sales and guest relations.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and secure repeat business.
• Strong communication skills across phone, email, and in-person channels.

Responsibilities

• Top quality customer service.
• Working as part of a dynamic and supportive team.
• Take enquiries and bookings via telephone and online bookings.
• Processing, amending and updating bookings as required.
• Hotel tours for new and prospective guests.
• Develop lasting relationships with clients and generate repeat business.
• Maximising revenue through upselling - this could be food and beverage packages, accommodation bookings and meeting room hire.
• Administration and technology savvy - Opera, Salesforce
