Carden Park Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in Chester is seeking an Events Manager to operationally manage weddings and events, coordinating with clients, suppliers and internal teams to deliver memorable experiences. This full-time role (40 hours) includes a salary up to £29,000 per annum plus service charge and extensive benefits, with shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing weddings and events within luxury hospitality is desirable.
• Experience in luxury hotel or upscale venues is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
• Reliable transport is important due to rural location.

Responsibilities

• Manage events from guest arrival through to successful delivery throughout their stay.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

Position: Events Manager

Salary: dependant on experience up to £29,000 per annum plus service charge plus extensive benefits

Contract: Enjoy a full time role of 40 hours per week, working a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.

Carden Park Hotel’s Conference and Banqueting team are looking for an Events Manager to operationally manage weddings and events. If you have previous experience running wedding and events, who would love to join a remarkable team, then we would love to meet you.

Your day with Team Carden:

• Manage events from guest arrival through to successful delivery throughout their stay.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations.
• Oversee event setup, service and breakdown.
• Manage budgets, timelines and event details.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Support the wider hotel team as required, adapting to the needs of the business.

About you:

• Previous experience managing weddings and events, ideally within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and memorable events.
• Highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing multiple priorities.
• Calm under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and confident building relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
• Hands-on team player with a flexible approach and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality.
