Carden Park Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in Ellesmere Port is seeking an Events Manager to oversee weddings and events, coordinating with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure flawless delivery.

You will manage budgets and timelines, lead event setup, service and breakdown, and provide exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hospitality setting. This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) with varied shifts, a competitive salary up to £29,000 plus service charge and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing weddings and events, ideally within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and memorable events.
• Highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing multiple priorities.
• Calm under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and confident building relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage events from guest arrival through to successful delivery throughout their stay.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations.
• Oversee event setup, service and breakdown.
• Manage budgets, timelines and event details.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Support the wider hotel team as required, adapting to the needs of the business.
