Job summary

Edwardian Hotels London in Manchester is recruiting a Groups & Events Sales Executive to join the dynamic Events and Groups team at The Edwardian Manchester. You will drive revenue by selling event spaces and ancillary services via phone, email and face-to-face meetings.

You will write proposals, act as client advocate, and ensure exceptional service from booking to post-event follow-up. Previous meetings and events sales experience in a luxury hotel is required; strong communication and tele

Qualifications

• Current Meetings and Events Sales experience within a 4- or 5-Star hotel environment.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Natural tele sales ability including closing skills, tone of voice.
• Ability to effectively listen and position Edwardian Hotels London to meet client needs.
• Be able to generate revenue opportunities including up selling and proactive selling.
• Technical knowledge of hotel booking systems including Opera.

Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum revenue through the effective selling of event spaces and ancillary revenue via telephone, email and face to face.
• Identify guest needs and write accurate proposals to provide the optimal experience while maximizing revenue.
• Act as the Client's advocate ensuring all needs are delivered from initial booking to follow-up service.
• Use sales skills to close deals and build long-term client relationships.
