Job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Events Coordinator to join our expanding Sales team at The Farmhouse at Redcoats.

Recently renovated and awarded 2 AA Rosettes and AA 4 stars, the Farmhouse is a beautiful country house with an enchanted Grade II listed Barns opposite, boasting 27 bedrooms and located in the countryside in North Hertfordshire between Hitchin and Stevenage.

Organisation and making people happy are two of your many top skills. Comfortable managing different priorities, ensuring the highest attention to detail and remaining calm when things are busy around you. Being 'the knowledge' when it comes to our events, reservations & hotel reservations, will stand you in good stead in this role.

What's the role?

  • Receive and follow up on events enquiries
  • Deliver show rounds
  • Conduct detailed and organised appointments
  • Create detailed function sheets for all functions & events, and issue on a weekly basis
  • Attend weekly function sheet meetings with all departments
  • Managing a busy email inbox and appointment diary
  • Assist the reception team with reservations, group bookings and shift cover
  • Liaise, build and maintain excellent working relationships with all departments and external suppliers
  • Maximise sales & revenue
  • Assist with wedding open days and wedding fairs with the wider Sales team
  • Maintain a calm presence in a busy department, with the highest attention to detail.
  • Displaying the ACI values each and every day and working towards our company mission of ‘making people happy’
  • Please note - this role does include weekend and evening work
