Job summary

The Queens Hotel in Leeds is seeking a Banquet Bar Food & Beverage Assistant to support seamless event execution and exceptional hospitality. You will help run bar and banquet services for conferences, weddings, and other gatherings, delivering attentive service and maintaining high standards.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, service-driven, and detail-oriented, with experience in F&B or banquets. Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage, banquet, or bar roles.
• Strong customer service and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced events environment.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service is desirable.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare banquet spaces and bars for events.
• Provide high-level food and beverage service during banquets, conferences, weddings, and events.
• Prepare and serve drinks at the banquet bar with responsible service standards.
• Ensure tables, buffets, and service areas are presented and replenished.
• Engage with guests professionally and anticipate needs.
• Clear tables and assist with post-event breakdown.
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in handling food and beverages.
