Job summary

The Queens Hotel in Leeds is seeking a proactive Conference and Banqueting Associate to ensure event spaces are set up to the highest standard and to support food and beverage service during conferences, meetings, and banquets. You will set up and break down spaces, maintain presentation of tables and service areas, and provide attentive guest service while coordinating with kitchen and service teams.

Qualifications

Desire to work in hospitality and events with a guest-focused mindset.
Experience in conference and banqueting is beneficial but not essential.
Strong presentation and communication skills, both spoken and written.
Knowledge of hygiene and health & safety procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and breakdown of event spaces according to client needs and hotel standards.
Assist with food and beverage service during conferences and banquets.
Keep tables and service areas well-presented and maintained throughout events.
Provide attentive, friendly service and coordinate with kitchen and service teams.
Uphold health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all handling.
Assist with additional event duties as required by the banqueting team.
