Qualifications

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence interacting with guests, event organisers and colleagues.
• Previous experience within Conference & Banqueting, events, food and beverage or a similar hospitality environment is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow event specifications accurately.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy operational environment.
• A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team.
• Confidence handling guest concerns professionally and knowing when to escalation for additional support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meeting rooms and event spaces to Brand Standards and ESS criteria.
• Provide a warm, professional meet and greet for event organisers.
• Review and deliver all requirements in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Deliver Conference & Banqueting service standards to create a seamless guest experience.
• Ensure buffet and coffee stations meet high standards and maintain them throughout service.
• Close-of-day meeting with event organisers and review of final bill when required.
• Balance cash, record charges accurately, and ensure revenue is captured daily.
• Monitor stock levels for conference supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly room audits to ensure spaces align with Brand Standards.
