Job summary

Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly is seeking a proactive Conference and Banqueting Associate to support high-quality events. You will prepare event spaces, assist with food and beverage service, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences during conferences, meetings, and banquets.

The role requires a passion for hospitality, strong teamwork, and a commitment to health and safety. Training and progression opportunities are offered within a growing hotel group.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering conference and banqueting services in a busy setting is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent presentation and professional appearance.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces according to client needs and hotel standards.
• Assist with food and beverage service during conferences, banquets and events.
• Ensure tables and service areas are well-presented and maintained during events.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and respond quickly to guest needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service.
