An established industry player is seeking an Events and Production Manager to oversee the front-line management of freelance production staff. This pivotal role involves ensuring that all performances and workshops are executed flawlessly, managing various production elements such as set construction and lighting. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in theatre production and will lead student shows, facilitating effective communication among production teams and venues. Salary: Starting at £30,960 with progression to £33,814 per annum

What You Will Do: The role involves front-line management of freelance production staff, ensuring all performances and workshops in internal and external spaces are supported efficiently. You will manage production elements including set construction, lighting, sound, and costume, ensuring compliance with legislation.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience in producing theatre from a technical background. Post-launch of the Conservatoire’s Actor/Actor Musician and Musical Theatre degrees, the Production Manager will lead Year 3 student shows, ensuring effective communication between production teams, creatives, and venues. Knowledge of current production practices and health and safety standards is essential.
