Job description

Location Address:

Work Shift:

12hr-A Shift (United States of America)
The Production Packaging Lead Associate role requires extensive knowledge of proper packaging of materials and finished products. Responsibilities include loading, moving materials, operating packaging equipment, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Relieve the bagger and palletizer operators
• Operate and understand robotic equipment and complete changeovers
• Assist with quality control and stand in for quality during DMRs when needed
• Participate in safety, quality, and morale initiatives
• Serve as the shift floater or lead packer, mentoring new employees and assisting with all lines
• Coordinate lunch and break relief for employees
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary by plant

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include:

• Advanced mathematical skills
• Advanced computer skills
• Over three years of relevant experience, including training and facilitation

Skills:

Proficiency in PPA Skills at Level I, II, and Lead Level, including safety practices, quality inspections, operation of packing machinery, and training of new associates.

Education and Training:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate Lead training and certification

Physical Demands:

Regular standing, walking, manual dexterity, reaching, occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, temperature fluctuations, and requirement of PPE in designated areas.
